Black Friday Regrets

Hello hello! How are you doing? Ready for the holidays?

I'm still reeling from all the excitement around my second holiday season as an entrepreneur. It feels fantastic- thank you so much for all your holiday love and support- together we are already sending over 40 pairs of Upitees to women's shelters around the country! I can't wait to report on the final number in January!

In the meantime, I have a sale to announce! I spent part of last week still thinking about Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and all the brouhaha wrapped up in it.

On the one hand, it feels contrary to my values, La Vie en Orange's values, to participate in such blatant consumerism. On the other hand, giving holiday shoppers a handmade and independent alternative to the corporations feels really good and necessary.

And I love a thoughtful gift.
