Is that a story in your underpants?

There's definitely a story here! :)

How do you tell your story? How do you choose what to leave in or out, what to emphasize?

We all have stories we fall back on, ones we love to tell because they get a great laugh (My best friend and I once got pulled over twice in one night for smoking cigars), or because of their shock factor or uniqueness (The toes on my right foot all died and came back to life. For real. Zombie toes.)

So now I'm working on telling my new stories, the ones about my business (why underwear?), my motivations (why tshirts?). What I do and why, and why people should care (Thank you for caring! Thank you for reading!).

Yesterday I met Christian from Boomba Chicken.

He's a kind of professional story teller, a great communicator that helps business people tell their stories.

I'm really looking forward to bringing him into my journey and refining my stories and sharing my experiences. With you :)

What about you? What are your favorite stories?  Comment below to share :) xoxo

I love this post!!
I’m looking forward to hear all about the "why"s behind your business…all that time we where writing to each other (haven’t forgot to reply, just need the time ;-)) I was asking my self these questions, so I would love to hear the stories :)

Zombie toes…loved that ;-)

I probably have lots of stories, the one I love telling people is how I’ve learned about my inner powers and understood my own disabilities through raising my Autistic spectrum child…

Will write to you soon

Adiya- thanks so much for your sweet note! And for sharing your story (stories) – the visual image that popped into my head reading about your “inner powers” was definitely an Adiya superhero. I love that you’ve discovered so much about yourself (says the non-parent :)). Looking forward to hearing more! xoxo Kori

I also love this post…stories are so much fun and such a huge part of who we are! One of my favorite stories is the time I was volunteering at a hospital as a teenager and passed out while sitting in on a procedure with a patient…not due to blood or guts or even needles…it was the sight of a senior citizen’s smooshed-between-glass-plates breast. It caught me off guard to say the least….

That is amazing! It caught me off guard too, but what better place to pass out? :) Glad you lived to tell the tale! Thanks for sharing, Stepmonster :)
